Krafton Inc have started accepting pre-registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile India from May 18. Even though the company has revealed that it will start accepting pre-registrations, it has not revealed when the game will be made available in the country, but some rumours suggest that the launch will take place on 3rd week of June. Read this article to know major updates & changes that are coming in the game that separates it from the global version.

1.Release Date & New Logo Reveal

According to PUBG top gamers, the fan-favourite battle royale game is expected to be available anytime soon. Some members of the community have reported that the game will be available in the month of June. However, there has been no official announcement by Krafton yet. Although a trailer has dropped that reveals the Official New Logo of the game.

2.Exclusive India specific content and tournaments

Krafton has mentioned clearly that Battlegrounds Mobile India will be available exclusively to play in India. Battlegrounds Mobile India is expected to bring new India-exclusive content to players. These include new player skins, gun skins and events. Game developer Krafton had stated earlier this month that it  “will collaborate with partners to build an esports ecosystem while bringing in-game content regularly, starting with a series of India specific in-game events at launch, to be announced later.”The game is also set to bring new eSport tournaments specific to Indian gamers.

3.Will you get to keep your PUBG Mobile (Global) data?

With the announcement of Battlegrounds Mobile India, Everyone has the same question that will they get the old data and achievements from the old global account. In last year we got the reports about the data migration from global to Indian version. According to reports, it stated that last date of data migration is 1st June 2021. Today Professional player of Team SoloMid, Ghatak posted on their Instagram about the data migration, “Let’s come to the main point regarding your game account. Don’t worry about that. All the investments made by you will be returned to you in full.”

4.New restrictions for kids

Players under 18 years will have to provide guardians phone no. to access the game while their daily gameplay quota will be limited to 3 hours per day. Additionally, their in-game purchases will be limited to Rs 7000 in a day.

5.New maps?

Battlegrounds Mobile India has also so far not revealed details on any new maps. However, a recent teaser shows what looks like a section of the Sanhok map from PUBG Mobile, while the announcement poster shows players parachuting into sections of what looks like the Miramar map.

Gamers anticipate that it will feature maps similar to PUBG Mobile. However, there might be some changes considering it is exclusively developed for the Indian gaming community.

6.Battlegrounds Mobile India system requirements

System requirements for the game are Android 5.1.1 or above, and at least 2 GB RAM memory. This means that most modern smartphones will be able to run Battlegrounds Mobile India, even if they aren’t top-of-the-line devices. However, for the best graphics and frame-rate settings, users will need better devices.

7.Esports: Battlegrounds Mobile India

As the global version of the game is still acquired by the Chinese Gaming giant “Tencent”, players are restricted from playing the game or take part in any Global Esports tournament. As a result, now the Indian version will feature its own Esports Eco System which will be limited to this country only. Similar to the format that Game for Peace, the Chinese version of the game has, Battlegrounds Mobile India will have an entirely separate Esports Section. Following, the game’s release in India, gamers are positive that its Esports Roadmap will be announced soon as well.
